I always order the same thing here, the Bacon, Egg and Cheese on a hero roll ($6.50) and it is one of the best in Manhattan. They scramble two fresh eggs and then tuck it into a soft chewy hero roll lined with American cheese. Then they top it with several pieces of crisp bacon. The combination of flavors is amazing, and the portion size is enough for breakfast and lunch.
The Bacon, Egg and Cheese on a soft roll is amazing
What I really like about Park Terrace Deli is not only do they have an extensive menu of sandwiches and wraps for breakfast, lunch and dinner but they are also very fair with their prices. All the sandwiches are under $10.00. With the size and quality of their food that is very fair at a time when everyone is raising their prices out of reach to most customers. The deli knows who their customers are and caters to them.

What I also like is the service is always very friendly and accommodating. Everyone has been very nice when ordering food, no matter how busy it is in the deli. They also get the food out promptly as most of the customers are in the trades and are eating on the go. No matter how quick they are the quality is always consistent.

My recent trip made me question it though when the guy at the register overcharged me by a $1.00 and then gave me attitude. Rather than making a fuss (I was not sure what his problem was), I just paid it and left. I chalked it up to someone having a bad day.
I did not see any changes in prices for breakfast
The nice part is that you can take your order to go order to Moscato Marsh, a small park down the block from the deli or Inwood Park down the road. On a beautiful warm and sunny day, it is the nicest place to eat and is better than any restaurant.
On game day when I come up for the Cornell-Columbia football game at Baker Stadium, it is still my ‘go to’ place when I am hungry. It is right down the road from the stadium and a nice alternative to the expensive concession stand (they charge $8.00 for a hot dog).

On a cool afternoon, I ordered the perfect meal, a Cheeseburger Deluxe. This large juicy burger was the ultimate comfort meal for lunch. The burger was perfectly cooked and had about three sliced of cheese on it. With the Dr. Brown Cherry soda, there is nothing like it.

Park Terrance Deli does not skimp on anything
Talk about a good Cheeseburger
I still was able to get back to the game (to watch us lose)
On my most recent walk down Broadway, I stopped in for breakfast wanting to try one of their breakfast platters. I chose a Cheese Omelet.
The breakfast menu
The guy must have not been listening because I ordered a Cheddar cheese omelet and somehow got a Feta Cheese omelet. Not the same but still good.
My Broadway walk breakfast
The omelet was huge
It came with a mountain of spiced hash browns which were really good. I also should have gotten rye toast instead of wheat but it still made a good sandwich. So it was two breakfasts in one.
You have to make a sandwich with it for two breakfasts
Even though the order was screwed up, the food was still delicious and I tried something new. It was such a beautiful day, I took my breakfast down to Muscato Marsh down the road, ate outside and enjoyed both the weather and the views.
Talk about the best place to eat breakfast with those views
Park Terrace Deli has been one of my go to places to eat uptown for a few years. I came across the deli when I was walking “The Great Saunter”, the 32 mile walk around Manhattan and needed an additional breakfast for extra protein and carbs. They did not disappoint me.
